How Are Microbes Related To Pharmaceuticals?
How are microbes used in pharmaceuticals? What kind of drugs are they found in? Where do these microbes come from? Please help

It is not necessary that microbes are always harmful for us but there are many ways through which these microbes are getting very useful for us especially in pharmaceuticals. There are a number of Antibiotic and other chemotherapeutic agents which are being produced through these microbes. Most of the microbes are being used in the production of antibiotics drugs and the beneficial microbes are also cultivated in the artificial culture. Another example is Microbial transformation of steroids in pharmaceutical industry.
