How Do You Load Games On To Your Hard Drive On Xbox 360?

Answer Question

2 Answers - Sort by: Date | Rating

The hard drive that is available with the Xbox 360 is meant to be an added feature that allows for better game play. It has a twenty gigabyte capacity and is used to save game files, music and audio data, gamer card and profile and content that is available from Xbox. It is nut actually meant to dump and play games. The Xbox 360 primarily uses it to enhance the gaming experience by streaming and caching data and thereby reducing lag time while loading. Game saves, progress and profile can also be saved to the system. The process by which an Xbox hard drive is used for the storage of games is known as modding. It is not exactly legal as one game would then be shared by several people.

Well now we can install games on our hard drive and play them.

But you have to have the disc in, but it doesn't spin the disc, its just a security thing to mkae sure you actually own the game.
