Could be "referred pain" due to a herniated lumbar disc. Does the pain radiate down the front, side, or back of leg? Could be a problem with the iliac crest...that curvy bone with a hole in the center, of which we have two: One on the rt., one on the lt. Could just need to be adjusted. Don't take advice here; go to your doctor.
