Hookworms are intestinal parasites. There are many species of hookworms and species responsible for infection in dogs can not affect humans. Different species can affect different animals. In dogs, hookworm transmission takes place through ingestion of larva, form infected mothers to unborn puppies and nursing puppies. Symptoms of hookworm infestation in dogs are
