Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

NEIU stands for Northeastern Illinois University. This university was started in 1867. It is situated in Chicago, Illinois. It was originally called the cook county school. It was only in 1971 that the cook county school was renamed as the Northeastern Illinois University. This university is known for its varied mix of ethnicities. It is supposed to be the highest in the Midwest area of the United States. There is no definite percentage of applicants accepted each year. The Department Chair and Faculty make this decision based on number of students already in the program as well as number of qualified applicants that they can accommodate in the fall classes.
