Hockey may appear to be a complicated game, but when you involve yourselves in the game you will be able to easily understand and master the game. There are many types of hockey namely, ice hockey, field hockey, street hockey. In countries like India, Pakistan people play field hockey, whereas ice hockey is played in USA, Canada, and Netherlands etc.
Hockey players use sticks which are curved to drive a ball or a rubber disk into the goal of the opponent's team. In an ice hockey game, there are six players in each time, which includes a goal keeper, three players as forwards and two players as defenders. A Referee is also present to observe and manage the game and also to check that the game is played as per the rules. If any rule of the game is not followed, penalties are imposed on the players.
