The Brazilian wax is used to wax the entire body, which also includes the bikini area. This was prepared with natural beeswax and tall oil. These waxes are generally not the popular synthesis waxes. They are entirely sugar based and include some amount of lemon. Some beauticians also include certain oils and scenes to lessen the discomfort.

The hair removal process is not only done by females but also by males worldwide. This wax is named by the country, since it is mostly associated with the country itself.

However, in earlier days some religions do perform this waxing since it is considered as a personal hygiene. The reason it originated in Brazil is because women wanted to wear new thong bikinis. It however, gained popularity in the 1900's.
