I have one cat that loves cantaloupe, banana, and grapefruit.  The other cats try to bury the same stuff.

Cats are not herbivores so Normally cats do not eat fruits and vegetables and there has been no research up till now that proves that cats need fruits and vegetables as part of a healthy diet. Read the article on the following link, which is an eye opener.

The dilemmas is that normally cats aren't domesticated either...
Also, normally, even wild cats eat what's in their prey's stomach and guts (mouse and bird stomachs and guts contain: Seeds and grains, fruits, veggies).
