How Does A NEW Licensed Salesperson Get Clients In Real Estate Excluding Families And Friends?

This person does not have too many friends and families around and he wants to explore the real estate business. To do his business effectively, he sends out flyers but he said that there's no return yet. Although I don't know how many flyers he sent out. I was just curious in the normalcy of this technique. He wants an honest opinion from me, but i might give him a bad one, so to help this person, i would like the blurtit followers to please help me on answering him next time i talk to him. i would like to cheer him up by saying only good and effective words. Thanks.

    If he is just a real estate saleperson and not a broker, he has to have a broker represent him.  If the broker representing has a office he should work from that office.  That company or office should have techniques for bringing in prospective clients.  If the office isn't very big he might consider trying to get a job with Caldwell Bankers, Remax, etc.  These people have been in business for a long time and know what they are doing, they have on the job training and do the best to help each salesperson suceed.  

    It is very hard to jump out on your own and sale real estate since there are so many offices already established.
