My Light And Exhaust Fan In Bathroom Won't Work. What's Wrong?

I am painting my lower bathroom in a town home I own.I took the light fixture down to replace it .I finished painting and went to hang new light up and had no power.I do have power to the outlet in bathroom but the light and exhaust fan doesn't work.I checked all the GFI switches and none of them were tripped.

If there is no power in your bathroom, there's a short and it can be dangerous. Call your local plumber. He has gadgets that can gauge whether it's a blown fuse of the wiring needs to be replaced.
