How Do You Deal With Massive Amounts Of Stress?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

Personally, I find that I deal better with stress if I can find some alone time.  I prefer to put on some soothing music, get a book to read, curl up in my favorite chair and just zone out in the author's world instead of mine.  The key to all of that is the word - ALONE.  No interruptions, no questions, no demands on my time, no children, no husband, no phone calls (turn off the phone for a couple of hours), just you and the soothing, background music and a good book.  Oh, you can add a cup of hot tea if you are so inclined.  If you get tired of reading, lay your head back and take a few minutes nap.  After a couple of hours of this alone time, I am ready to tackle the demands of everyday life once again.
