    How Many MGS Does 4000 IU Of Vitamin A Equal ?

    I was told too much Vitamin A will cause Hair Loss: Is this true?

    The formula is as follows;

    Vitamin A 1 mg = 2,907 IU of Vitamin A

    so  4000 IU will be less than 2 mgs.

    Very high doses of vitamin A can cause hair loss but it is very rare.
