Does Detergent Affect A Plant's Growth?

    Yes it does from the poisons in the detergent

    This answers my question but it doesnt take me far enough where I can write a report,about how it affects the plant growth.

      Yes the presence of plant growth affects the way the plant lives and kills the plant

        Yes. This is because detergent can get rid of the layer protecting the root hairs of the plant, and the root hairs will absorb the detergent instead. Because the plant will no longer have any water or nutrients, it will die. Then the plant will become decomposed because the detergent is a chemical to the plant.

        When a newly planted seed starts to sprout a growth root, Detergent kills the hair around the root of the plant, therefore killing it or causing it to grow to be small and unhealthy.
