Is It A Landlord Or A Tennant's Responsibility To Replace An In Ground Pool Pump And Filter System When It No Longer Works The Way It Needs To Be For Maintaining The Pool? |
| We recently moved to a private rental home with inground pool. From the start, even with using a solar blanket, we kept getting large amounts of debris in the bottom of the pool and after using the vacumn, would find that there would be much air accumulation in the system, thereby forcing the pump to work extra. Our landlord says it is our responsibility to buy a new filter and pump if we want to use the pool. I believe it is the landlord's responsibility to replace it, as that equipment is a necessary maintenance repair. |
