    PP is an acronym which stands for a lot of things. PP is commonly referred to as "project plan," which is a formal document approved for an implementation of a project.  PP can also stand for "power point" used widely for training, learning and presentations.

    In linguistics, PP stands for prepositional and post positionalphrases.  Prepositional phrases, used in languages like English, have a preposition at the beginning of a phrase. Here is an example of prepositional phrase:
    The cup is on the table.  The italics "on the table" signify a prepositional phrase. Postpositional phrases are used in head-final languages like Finnish, Estonian and Japanese. Here is an example of a postpositional phrase in Japanese:
    mise ni ("to the store")

    PP in nautical language means "between perpendiculars."  PP also stands for political parties like People' Party in Romania and People's Party in Spain
