Which King Was Reining In England?

It refers to the reining monarchs on the english throne in the 16 th century.

    Henry VIII ruled England  from1509–47.  His son Edward VI  ruled from 1547–53.  Henry's daughter Mary (Bloody Mary) was queen from 1553-1558,  and Elizabeth I ruled from 1558-1603.

      If something refers to the reigning English monarchs (plural) of the sixteenth century, they probably mean the name of the line the monarchs were from.  They were the Tudors.

      The answer before mine gives the individual names and reigns with two exceptions: Henry VII reigned 1489-1509, and his great-granddaughter, Lady Jane Grey, who reigned for a few days between Edward VI and Mary I.
