To obtain a visa to visit Pakistan visitors are required to apply at their nearest consulate, Consular Section, Embassy or High Commission. Application requirements include original valid passport, an application form, two passport photos, confirmed return or forward ticket and in the case of business trip a formal letter of invitation from a company in Pakistan.

All Israeli nationals are denied a visa even if it is just to pass through Pakistan.

The cost of obtaining a visa differs according to nationality, for British nationals it is 45pounds for single entry, for Pakistani nationals having dual nationality it is 24 pounds for an adult, for pilgrims it is 45 pounds. A visa is normally valid for a period of six months from the date of issue with extensions up to three months.
