Who Is Whitney Houston?

Whitney Houston is a very famous Afro-American actress and singer. She is also a film producer, songwriter and even a fashion model. Born in 1963 she is perhaps best known for her role in the movie "The Bodyguard" in which she stared opposite Kevin Costner and for the single "I will always love you" which was themed on the movie.

In 1992, Whitney Houston married Bobby Brown. But like most high profile marriages, it also sadly ended, with Whitney having filed for divorce in 2006.

Whitney Houston remains the highest selling musicians in history with over 132 million copies of her album have been sold. She has also sold over 53 million singles. Whitney has also received several awards including multiple American billboard and music awards and Grammy and Emmy awards as well.
