You truly don't know the half of what you are asking millions of animals are tested on every year. Rabbit get there eyes pinned open and they put shampoos in them to test them for us to use. Cats get things poured on there skin .

Around 60% of all animals tested on are mice and rats. Rabbits and cats only make maybe 3% of these animals. More than any other animal though they test on rodents. I would also suggest not going to PETA.com seeing that you would only get a one sided answer to anything.
