This Question Is Answered:
What Causes Hair Loss In Hamsters?
My black bear hamster is losing his hair, I did change his bedding to pine, but found out that this could cause an allergic reaction ans changed it back the next day. He is still losing his hair.

If the hamster is allergic to the chemicals in the old bedding and the cage was not cleand well then the residue from the old bedding could still be present in the cage.

 Hi C Boger!

I'm sorry to hear that your hamster is having issues.

I found a site that was quite informative and I suggest that you check it out.

Good luck and please be sure to let us know how this turns out!
