My 6.5 Brigg Straton Won't Start Even With A New Spark Plug, How To Fix It?

I need to get my lawnmower started so I can cut my grass, and my mower acts like it want to start but when i pull the crank after priming it just putters and nothing it won't catch

    Blow out the main jet, and you should be good to go.  The main jet is the brass colored nut on the bottom of the bowl.  Sometimes you will have to remove the air filter cover, and the plate attached to the carburator to get to it.  Use a 1/2 inch wrench to get the nut off., clean the nut holes with a bread wrapped wire, and blow it out.  Using carburator cleaner will also push the junk out of the nut.  Replace the nut, making sure the washer is placed on the nut, snug it tight but not to tight.  You should be good to go.  Change the oil too.  You will need sae 30 oil.  Hope this helps
