What Should I Do With My Limping Kitty?

My 4y/o cat is limping ; favoring his left hind leg, he walks on it, but it looks like it gives at the knee. But Duke didnt wince or fuss when i touched the leg, his back, or the left hip. He's still loving and rubbing on you...but is not up and around as much as he usually is. I don't know what to do. Money's tight this month so i really cant afford a vet...but don't want to make it worse if it might be serious. Please Help!

If you can't see any injury on the cat's leg and the cat is just limping and can put little weight on injured leg then it is fine. Their might be some minor problem with the cat and the Nature will heal it.

Some times the cats do suffer from joint problems but it is not life and death case so in that case you can take your cat to vet next month.

If the cat is limping and cant put weight on that leg or she cant put her leg on the ground and when you touch she make weired sounds then thats a serious problem. There might be a chance that her leg is broken and in such case your cat needs a good vet.

Thanks so much. Yeah, he doesn't fuss when i touch, poke, squeeze the leg, and another girlfriend of mine said the same thing. I'll just wait it out. If you think of anything else. Please let me know. Thanks.
