I can tell you right off that ferrets require DAILY cage cleanings, its the only way to go with them. They also require a lot of social play, meaning out of their cage and with you or another ferret. They are high maintenance pets, but are wonderful if you have the time and energy for one!!
A turtle requires a very specific controlled environment, and that requires specific cleaning, the gerbil requires the dumping out and wash and replacement of bedding... So just to not go one forever about all the variables possible here i am going to go with gerbil.
