You have not explained your question. Bad effects of which hormones you are asking. There are many hormones produced in our body. Non of the natural hormone has any bad effect if produced in normal quantities. All synthetic hormones have some side effects. The hormones are available tablets/capsules, IV/IM injections, ,transdermal patches, nasal sprays, implants and vaginal pessaries. One of the major side effects of these synthetic hormone is suppression of natural production of hormones. Other problems are liver damage, Sex hormones can cause thrombosis, hypertension, changes in weight, changes in sexual desire, vision problems, and fungal infection. Use of Estrogen in females can cause endometrial cancer.
