Nominal data is the data in which there is only classification but no other dimension is there. In the ordinal data there are dimensions of classification and order while there is no dimension of distance or origin. In interval data there are three dimensions which include classification, order and distance while there is no origin. In the ration data all of the four dimensions are present.
