Is Methotrexate Used For Arthritis Pain That Is NOT Necessarily RA?

I only have pain on my right side : ankle, knee, hand, and elbow. No pain on my left side, so it may not be RA. Is methotrexate still a good remedy?

Methotrexate is a drug used as chemotherapy in life threatening cancers like breast cancer, lung cancer, head cancer, neck cancer and skin cancer. This drug is also used to treat arthritis and rheumatic disorders. This drug, along with treating pain of arthritis also reduces the damage to the joints. This drug should be used for the arthritis and various conditions of rheumatic arthritis but not for other pains.
