Should You Feed Dogs Raw Bones?

Answer Question

2 Answers - Sort by: Date | Rating

Yes, giving dogs bones to chew on is a good idea, as long as they're not chicken bones (or bones from any bird).  Bird bones tend to splinter and can injure your dog's mouth, throat, or stomach, or could cause your dog to choke.  But beef bones and bones from other mammals are fine.  They give your dog something to chew on to strengthen its teeth, and the marrow contains good nutrients.

Don't give dogs chicken bone  they can splinter and cut their mouth and throat  they also can choke on small bones you can give a dog a large bone like ham soup bone this kind of bone is big enough that they wont choke on it  but you need to watch the dog with the bone they can chew the bone down small enough  to choke on
