How Do You Serve Wine?

Serving and consuming wine has its own unique way. A proper serving enhances the enjoyment of wine. The temperature of the wine is very important. It should not be too warm and not too chilled. White wines are best refrigerated for one to two hours and red wines for 30 to 45 minutes. The temperature should be around 55 to 65 degrees Fahrenheit. Open the bottle carefully and immediately serve. Sometimes people allow the wine to 'breathe' for a few minutes before serving. The stink of the bottle is escaped when the wine is allowed to stay in the bottle for a while. The serving glass should be easy to hold and swirl. A tulip glass with a long stem and a wide bottom is favourably used. Pour the wine to the half way mark of the glass. Swirling the glass is very important for a fine and smooth taste of the wine.
