If your boyfriend signed the lease with agreement that you would stay there for certain period of time then they can't force you if you are abiding the terms. But if you are staying most of the time of the month in this house then they can force you to sign the lease because you are living just like a resident of the place.

They can't make you if you don't sleep there.
Go visit and go home at night. If you're living there they have the right to ask you to be a part of the lease , it insures they will get their rent.
If you don't want to be a part of the lease, stop sleeping over. It's their property and they have a lease stating they have one tenant living in their apartment not two. Also, they need to make sure they are covered legally ... You could get hurt on their property.
If you don't want to sign then don't spend the time.

As long as the lease that he signed doesn't forbid him to sub-lease, you are fine. If it does, then they have the right to require that you be added to the lease.
