Organization development is basically a planned effort which is organization-wide and is managed from the top, to increase organization effectiveness and efficiency, through planned interventions in the organization's processes, using behavioural science knowledge. It is the basic tool for change management as through organizational development, people are made to realize that change is important and they have to adopt it in order to sustain and progress. Organizational Development is not possible without effective management of change.
