Bath is a city situated in South West England and is quiet well known for its baths fed by three hot springs. It is positioned 159 kilometres west of central London and approximately 21 kilometres southeast of Bristol.
The city was discovered during the period of the only naturally-occurring hot springs in United Kingdom. It was initially recognised as a Roman Spa, though folklores suggest it was discovered much earlier. It was said that the water which originated from the spring would cure many afflictions. During the Elizabeth and the Georgian age it considered to be a resort city for the Wealthy people. It is because of its reputation that many examples of Georgian architecture are found here.
The city has a total population of 80,000 and has been declared a World Heritage Site.
