There is no official itinerary available on how George and Laura Bush spent their time on Mother's day on May 14 last year. As per the White House archives, it shows a release for George Bush presenting White House Trees to John Howard, the Australian Prime Minister, at the Australian Embassy.

Mrs. Laura Bush did appear on Fox News Sunday on that day and responded some questions including one related to the Federal Marriage Amendment. Mrs. Bush also offered a Mother's day message to each and every mother across the United States as well as to her own mother. She included a special Mother's day message to all military mothers. She also claims she didn't really believe various polls stating approval ratings for the President had progressively declined.
