Is There Cheese In Cheesecake?

I can not taste cheese when i eat it, so is there really cheese in cheese cake?

    Well, definitely there is cheese in cheesecake. In fact a lot of cheese as much as 8 OZ cheese is required for a standard cheese cake. You cannot taste it because the other ingredients like condensed milk, lemon juice, vanilla essence cover its taste.

      It's not really cheese, it's cream cheese, which is a sweet, mild tasting white cheese. It also contains milk fat. A lot of people use cream cheese to spread on their bagels as well. It comes plain and in flavors like salmon, cinnamon raisin, vegetable etc. For cheese cake you would use the plain version.
