    A coop is usually an enclosed space or a cage for small animals or for poultry. Coop is a farm building for housing poultry. The coops are generally made of wires or metal bars in which the animals or poultry are kept. A chicken coop is a farm building for chicken.

    A coop is a cage which is an enclosed space. This enclosed space is mane of wires or metal slab and animals are kept in it. Coop is limited, restricted space made of metal bars or wires to keep small animals or poultry. Coop in other sense is also a word which means a place where chicken roost. Coop is an uncomfortable, confined space. It may be called a prison for the farm animals or poultry.

      Yeah, but I am willing to bet you don't think that, or even CARE about that when you are eating chicken for dinner. It's always some tree hugging, uneducated, pot smoking HIPPIE that has to comment with stupid remarks like that.

      Chicken coops are usually quite large and allow chickens to roam around FREELY, as well as have access to an outdoor "flight pen", even though chickens only fly when scared and when they know they can not out run whatever is chasing them. A chicken CAGE may be small, but again, I am willing to bet you do NOTHING about that when you are eating eggs for breakfast or while eating your chicken burrito for dinner! Coops are not always small, cruel or confined spaces. CAGES are that way. Maybe if you knew what a chicken coop actually was, you'd have written a better definition.
