Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

The best way to explicate a poem is by applying simple basic language which can be understood by everyone. While explicating always emphasize on the main background of the poem, its effects, contexts and consequences if any.

The main idea is to understand the theme of the poem and illustrating it in a simple manner. A poem basically is a type of an art in which languages are applied for its aesthetic individuality in addition to, or in lieu of, it's supposed meaning. Poetry may be penned independently, in the form of discrete poems, or can be applied in conjunction with other arts, like in poetic drama, hymns or lyrics.

Poetry has been around for a long time, initial attempts to explain it like Aristotle's Poetics, emphasized on the application of speech in rhetoric, drama, song and comedy.
