The Indian Ring neck Parakeet diet consist of vegetables,fruits,sometimes berries,nuts and seeds. You must always keep the water container filled up. And wash the food and water container once everyday to prevent bacteria from growing there and making the parrot sick.

I feed my parrots a good parrot mix from a pet store not the supermarket. They love sunflower seeds and peanuts. Peanuts with the shell keeps them entertained for ages they love to crack them open (join as many age you can on a piece of nylon and hang it there cage). My parrots eat 2 or 3 servings a week of fresh fruits like apples, pears as well as green leafy vegetables like silver-beet. Hope this helps VIcki
