    Now a days business has developed itself as a scientific activity.  To face the competition, knowledge about the leaks and creeks of the business has become essential.  So having the report of business comprise of facts and figures is considered as the basic factor for the growth of business.  The technology has improved so much that there exists a vivid classification of the same.

    A report is a document (technical or non technical as case may be) which contains detailed and analytical of a particular subject, problem or situation reviewed by the worker under certain specific conditions or term of reference given by the employer.

    The main purpose of a written report is to give information and solution to solve a confronted with a problem or situation.  Every one in the top management is not supposed to know.  Each and every phase, of activity in the organization is heard, particularly in longer organization.  They will hear departmental and sectional heads and specialists to assist them in the day to day management.  These reports serve as tools of management and it will only be right to say that the reports generally serve as the magic 'Eyes and Ears' through which the top executives control 'big show' of business and administrations.
