How Long Can An Ohioan Receive Federal Extended Unemployment Benefits?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

Tier 1 20 weeks tier 2 13 weeks for a total of 33 weeks. It probably won't matter though. There are no jobs here, and there is nothing happening to change that. You will probably use all of it before you find a job. Take it from me I'm on the fed side and I have had a total of 2 interviews in 7 mo. Got the job for one of them at $13.50hr which is less than I'm getting on unemployment, and therefore more bills I could not pay. The second I was told I was overqualified for, but they liked me and will consider me for more Sr roles...yeah right. At least civil service, medical workers, and construction workers will have jobs created for them. Thanks for covering the whole spectrum of unemployed people Obama, and I voted Dem. Washington is not doing enough for people out of work. They are acting TOO SLOW and people's lives are being affected tremendously.
