It isn't recommended that you use any shampoos or powders on kittens because it can be toxic to them. I have in the past however diluted the shampoo and used it on them in the bath, still following the directions on the bottle.

I also stuff cotton in the ears so the fleas can't get in there to escape from the water and chemicals. After the bath, (on a very warm day) take the kitten outside, and use a tight comb on the fur to remove both fleas and eggs.

Dry the kitten off as best you can, and check the kitten in a day or two to see if the fleas are there at all. If they are, you need to wait another 5 to 7 days, and then repeat the bath again, but no more than 2 baths, this shampoo can be very harsh on their skin and can cause other health problems for them. Hope this helps.

Fleas WILL NOT get around sulfur! Plus, borax dries up the flea's eggs so they won't hatch!
These things WILL NOT hurt a kitten, and can be cleaned up with your vacuum!
So if you put sulfur and borax in their area, and powered the kittens with sulfur, you wouldn't kill the fleas, but that is not a place they would be!
