How Do I Add Stiffness To A Golf Club Shaft?

I currently have senior shaft in my TaylorMade Driver (std re-ax 55 shaft) and my Ping I3+ irons (Aldila A flex). I recently purchased a Ping Rapture 5 wood with an Aldila DVS A flex and it has too much flex. Short of replacing the shaft, is there something I can do to stiffen this one up a bit.

You will have to replace the shaft, any attempt to stiffen the flex, (adding tape as an example) will negatively effect the performance of the club.
