It was in the gardens of Combe End House nursing home in Marlbourough, where a dig unveiled the Stone Age findings and the findings also made them modify the site. It was a bucket that they found that was full of flint chippings showing tools of Stone Age.
The experts were called after the incident and they carried further out test digs to find other historical remains. It was said that the project manager Mark Roberts believed that other archaeological findings were found in the area and Marlbourough Bucket was notable among them. It was a leather bucket that can be date back to Iron Age and the findings were named as such.
The dig could not unveil a single other trace to link it with Roman or Medieval times, but the archaeological team was immensely happy to find a camping site of Stone Age man.
