    Humboldt is a town in the Yavapai County which is located in Arizona in the United States of America. The total population of the town is around 6,300, these statistics were taken during the 200 census. The Humboldt Arizona town is also referred to as Dewey-Humboldt Arizona. The name has been derived from the nearby town of Dewey. The settlement in Humboldt was established in the early 1860s.

    Till the year 1905 the town was known as Val Verde it was named after the company that owned and operated the smelting operations. It was later renamed to Humboldt and quickly grew to the population of 1,000; it also had to daily trains to provide transport to the residents.
