What County Is Uxbridge In?

    Uxbridge is located in the London Borough of Hillingdon which is in West London, England. This suburban development is situated 15.5 miles to the west of Charing Cross. The boundary with Buckinghamshire is found close by. The town centre has a number of retail outlets as well as major office buildings. It is also home to many important European offices of a number of international companies. The civic centre of the London Borough of Hillingdon and Brunel University are both located in Uxbridge. Uxbridge station is served by the Piccadilly and Metropolitan underground lines. The town centre, which is pedestrianised, is quite a popular destination for shopping in West London. The Chimes and The Pavilions are the shopping centers which house a wide variety of shops like Next, GAP, BHS and TopShop. Windsor Street, found just off the High Street, is a small road which houses the traditional, old, independent shops.
