I Am Studying Physical Science In Secondary School. Which Of The Modules Should I Study Thoroughly In Preparation For Exam, I Mean The Modules Which Have Most Questions In The Exam?
Answers
In the study of physical science there are learning modules, each covering different aspects of this field of study. Different companies who create and publish these modules emphasize different areas, since I do not know, which set of modules you have studied, I am unable to give you a precise answer to your question. However, I searched through sample examination materials from a number of different states. The break down appears to be about the same in all the tests I found. It seemed there was a greater emphasis on chemistry, like about 70% and 30% on the other physical sciences of physics and astronomy.
I would suggest reviewing all the chemical elements you have studied, and the basic concepts you learned in all to the modules. Review all the applications you learned for resolving problems in chemistry and physics. Go back over tests you have taken throughout the year, and review the problem solving questions, especially.
Go back over notes you took in class, since your notes would include the topics your teacher emphasized throughout the year. Also, go back and review any lab projects you have done this year, if there is one on a test, it will not be the same, but the process you followed is the same. This will help you remember the steps to take in resolving a lab problem.
If, you used a workbook or have worksheets from the year, review them, because the questions on these will be similar to the test quesions, most of the time. Study with some of your friends, drill each other on the ability to explain the basic concepts within each of the modules. Good Luck!
