What Is A Normal Heart Beat Rate For A 25 Year Old Female Who Does Not Smoke?

My daughter of 25 has been fainting and feeling unwell. She had an ECG her heart rate is 55 BPM and her blood pressure is low. What is a normal heart beat of someone this age? She does not smoke but drinks. She has been feeling very tired lately. Had blood taken, pending results. Could she have a underlying heart condition that has surfaced in her 20's. Is is something she could have been born with? All advise welcome thanks

The normal heart rate in this age is from 80 to 100 BPM. Your daughter certainly has heart problem. Get her completely checked by the doctor. For details about heart rate, visit this link

Zuhail- i dont know where you got your information, but the average HR for a 25 year old is not 80-100. Normal Sinus Rhythm states 60-100 bpm is considered normal, however people who are healthy, (exercise, diet/nutrition, no smoking) hae a much lower resting heart rate. Lance Armstrong is an extreme example, however, his resting HR averages in the 30's. I am a 25 year old male, an avid cyclist and runner, and my resting HR is in the 40's with no complications. If she has Low Blood pressure,

My name is Holy. I'm a 25 years old, my heart rate is 55 beat per minute. I feel pretty well and i don't have any heart problem. Actually my mother has very low heart beat. So, i thought, it is a kind of heredity matters. I have searched many things about low heart beats.  I had previously felt some symptoms such as dizziness, feeling of uncomfortable, weakness, palpitations and others, but those were not so serious. At that time, i just take a rest or suggest myself to drink more water and eat some chocolates to increase my BP. At first i was also worried about my slow heart rate and some symptoms. But then i heard that whose heart rate is slow between 50-60 beat per minute, is actually in healthy state, because most of the athletics have slow heart rate as above. Having a slow heart rate is one kind of advantage that we can run a long distance, we can hold the breath for longer than the others and so on. So i started feel not to worry about my own condition. So, DON'T BE WORRY! BUT IF YOUR HEART BEAT GETS BELOW 50 BPM, THEN I SUGGEST YOU TO SEE A DOCTOR! OK! GOOD LUCK!
