Do Adults Wet The Bed?

Whilst it is a lot less common for adults to wet the bed than for children, it does still happen. Roughly it affects around 1 in every 100 people and every single person is different so the amount of times that they do wet the bed differs. Some adults may only wet the bed occasionally whilst others may not, for whatever reason, experience a dry night's sleep.

Due to the fact that some adults do wet the bed, they tend to hide it from everyone they know because it is so embarrassing. They try and put off any future relationships and they also live a fairly miserable life a lot of the time. However, there are things which can help people who do suffer from the condition and it can be caused by a number of things. The best thing to do is to talk to a doctor if you are worried about wetting the bed and they will talk through the reasons why it might be happening and what you can do about it.
