    In the year 2005, Costa Rica had a populace of around of 4,016,173. The majority populance out here are spanish settlers followed by, Jewish, Polish, Italian and German descendants. 94% of the population out here is European and Mestizos. While, the remaining 3% of the population comprise of Afro- Costa ricans i.e. African Descents and black Jamaican colonist personnel. A very small 1% comprise of ethnic chinese.

    With Christainity being the main religion out here, the total population that comprise of Christians is 92%.  The native populance here  is around 50,000, which is around 1.7% of the population. However, the population seems to be growing by years, with a huge number of immigrant workers. Around 10% of the population today comprise of Nicaraguans and Amerindian who seek work as farmers.
