How Can II Install The Windows Without Affecting The Already Installed Programs On My Computer?

There are only two way to install a new window without affecting the already installed programs on a computer. When we install a new window then all the programs which were running on the previous windows become useless. As you cannot run those programs on the new window.

* You have to update the previous window. For example i am using windows 98 on my computer. But now i want to install windows XP in my computer and i dont want to loss all the programs which are installed on my computer. i can install windows Xp by choosing the update method. Insert the CD of windows XP. CD Rom will read the CD and display you few options. There you will see the option some thing like" Update windows 98 to windows XP".

* The other method is only useful if you are installing a new window. For example if i have windows 98 in my computer and i want to install a fresh copy of windows XP without affecting the already installed programs then i cannot use the method mentioned above. But i can recover my windows. Suppose i have windows XP and i have many viruses in my computer so i want to install a new copy of windows XP. Then the only way of doing this is to recover windows. It is very simple to do.

Just put the CD which contains windows XP. Restart your computer. Follow the instructions to install windows and when you see the option "recover your windows" on your screen then choose this option. A new copy of windows will be installed and it will not affect the installed programs on your computer.
