How The Search Results Are Displayed In The Web Search Engine, The Alta Vista?

When you write e key word to be searched and then you click search enter or press enter, you will be able to see the browser displaying in a little bit different format from the other search engines. It will show you the title, and then the web link of the site, size of the file plus it will also show two lines of the website that has been found by it.

If you use the default options of the search engine then you will be able to see ten results but with the advanced options you can even see the thirty up to fifty results of the records. You can customize these settings according to your requirements. You can even customize the size of the file or the language of your requirements. And with the passage of time due to some reasons the date portion from the result displays was removed.

Some of the related links to the searched results are displayed in the window on right side. There are certain other options like related pages, translate etc at the end of the result page which can be used by the user to get more refine results.
