What Was Society Like At The Beginning Of World War II?

    The First World War (1913-1919) had brought severe menace to the economy of many countries of the world. The effects were not yet over that the society had to experience the ill-effects of World-Wide Economic Crisis in USA and Europe, which was termed as the Great Depression.

    There were strikes in these countries.  In 1929, World-Wide Economic Crisis caused millions to be thrown out of work in the US and Europe. The industries were declining and this had struck the economy of the world very badly. By 1931, there was enough stress to make efforts to make social and economic reforms to combat this crisis till in 1939. The whole region was put into another World War.
